Our Focus is to Create a Great Environment to Play Cricket.

Ormond Cricket Club caters for players of all ages starting with the grass roots programmes, Junior Blasters and Master Blasters. Players then progress to under age cricket teams where we currently field 13 teams including six Under 12 teams (Rookies to A Grade) as well as several Under 14 and Under 16 teams. At the senior level we have 4 teams that play on turf in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association plus a Sunday team on turf in the Cricket Southern Bayside competition. Our senior 5ths and 6ths play on Saturdays in the South East Cricket Association (SECA).

Ormond Cricket Club has a long and proud history winning 9 VSDCA 1st XI premierships, the latest being in the 2014/15 season. In season 2020/21 we finished runners up and over the years we have produced a number of outstanding cricketers through our junior development programme. In the last few years we have seen a record number of players represent the SECA association plus a number of boys and girls have gone on to play for the Victorian Under 12, 15, 17 and 19 teams as well ast the Australian Under 17 and Under 19 teams.

As a community club we have built a culture around families, respect, inclusiveness and accountability. We strive for continuous improvement both on and off the field and conduct social, family and community events.

New players of all ages and skill levels are most welcome and we invite you to contact us today.
